For the period of two years, the Bauhaus Digital Masterclass brought renowned national and international researchers and lecturers to the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in a series of seminars. The seminars were devoted to fundamental questions of digitization in the intersection of architecture, design and media.
Invited speakers were among others architect and architectural theorist Daniel Cardoso Llach, economist and historian of science Moritz Mähr to Katarina Tai, a PhD student on Chinese foreign policy in the intersection of international politics and internet policy.
Taking the cue from the conference theme, i created an open visual system to layout the communication and structure the program in clarity. This adaptable set of layout helped the client tap deeper into its communicative potential and find new voices to address the scholastic clientele. A simple wordmark is created to underline Bauhaus’s constant transformation in education and its legacy not only in artistic field, but in media studies.
I helped to shape and transform a rather serious scholastic into an approachable platform by creating a professional face for the digital discourses.
What i did:
Corporate Identity, visual identity and promotional material for print and screen
Project coordination: Christoph Engemann
Art Direction and design: Evey Kwong
