PROFILE:
alter–native is a creative studio founded by Evey Kwong. I am based in Berlin, Germany.



Evey has a background in graphic design and crafts making. Before co-founding alter-native, she spent time working with design agencies such as STATE and Ponder as a freelance senior designer. She holds Master’s degrees in graphic design from Academy of Arts Leipzig. Observation and curiosity are central to her process, guided by her time spent engaging with and learning from the natural world. She spends time with woven communities in the remotest places in Borneo, a passionate weaver, and carries a deep interest in eco-social matters.
